Sleeping
In accordance with Marae communal traditions, manuhiri (guests) sleep on separate mattresses arranged inside the carpeted comfort of the Marae wharenui (meeting hall).
Showering and Toilets
Te Hana Te Ao Marama has modern and separate male and female shower and toilet facilities. The washbasins are communal in nature. However both the toilets and showers are located within private modern cubicles. Each block also has accessible showers and toilets.
Dining
Dining takes place in the Marae Wharekai (dining hall). Tables and chairs are placed in accordance with communal dining traditions.
